I have to admit, Fashion Week was just the excuse I needed to finally go shopping (which I have been rationalizing against due to my pittance of a budget).
As is typical, the volunteers were requested to come dressed in monochrome black. However, I own four things in my wardrobe that are black: a big sloppy sweater, adidas sneaks, a knit vest, and a hand-me-down dress from my sister, so I was definitely hitting up the mall this weekend.
Considering my closet's severe black deficiency I mostly picked up boring basics that you probably don't care to look at. These two are the only things I bought that actually have some personality.
necklace: Forever21, jacket: H&M
I got this jacket for only $25 (originally $35) through H&M's "10 Years of Fashion in The USA" promotion. They're taking $10 off different featured items every day (October 1st-10th) of the promotion. More than one item is featured everyday so you're sure to find something you'll like for a great price.
Wishing everyone a happy week,
Holly
