Vivienne Westwood Shoes Video by Pretty Portobello

Hi guys,

Very exciting! My first video on You Tube!

Yay! Passing by Selfridges today, I saw the exhibition 'Vivienne Westwood Shoes 1973-2010'. Really, really great and a real must see for any Westwood fan.
I knew I was going to see some shoes, which I have already shared the pictures with you, taken last year at the FNO, but there were some new designs on display as well as loads of Melissas shoes.

Anyways, I was so excited, that I decided to have my first attempt on You Tube! So, it's a chance if you don't live in London, to catch up with this fabulous exhibition . I hope you girls enjoy my amateur filming, laughs!

It's quite a long film (which took ages to upload!) and I hope I have captured the shoes well. There are ladies and men's shoes, so the boys can watch it too.

You can also catch up with this small compilation, the exhibition was long and a shoe heaven for any Westwood lover! Those are some of my favourite designs.

I hope you have enjoy it!

See you soon.

New Melissas by Vivienne Westwood are just around the corner

Hello guys,

Today's post is all about the new Melissas + Vivienne Westwood collection for A/W.
'Lady Dragon Cherry' Melissas have already been released in Brazil, of course, and are on their way over here as we speak.

I am already betting on this new version to be sold out quickly! They are just so cute and they totally please everyone, surely to bring your inner Pin up girl out with a playful attitude and the cutest cherries on top!
I am so sure they will go like hotcakes with cherry sauce....

Aren't they just adorable?

And following the popularity 'Lady dragon heart' has new hot colours for Autumn... but honestly we are aloud to wear it on summertime too!

Another lovely creation for this season is a totally new collection which has just been introduced, called 'Zen Girl'. An amazing, comfy and truly cool flat, with Westwood's signature heart on top and stud details. I LOVED IT!
I would love to add this pair to my collection.

Love them too? No need to despair! The good news for us is that they will be selling on the UK at the end of this month (not long to go) and you can also pre order them now from Hervia!

See you soon.

Fashion's night out - with Vivienne Westwood shoes

Hello,

'A Fashion night out', was an event created by Vogue in a global initiative to promote retail, restore consumer confidence and celebrate fashion.

This fashion extravaganza took part in 13 countries: USA, UK, Brazil, Italy, Greece, Russia, France, India, Spain, China, Tawain, Germany and Japan. It all happened last night when flagship stores, shops and boutiques all offered special discounts and in-store events. There were over 300 stores across the globe participating.

It was a great evening out, where fashionistas could be seen all over the place. The west end of London was particularly busier than usual, loads of girls were shopping and having a lot of fun together.

Of course, I'll share some pictures with all my lovely readers...

I was at the Vivienne Westwood shop where there was an amazing display of her fabulously wonderful collection of shoes.

Viv fans, prepare yourselves, here is a small selection!

I can't wait...

Hello,

A little post to celebrate the sales and the internet! Is there anything better than to browse on line in the comfort of your home?

I have just come across 'My wardrobe' website, which is another great multi brand website. At the moment they offering great discounts and I could not help myself but buying another Vivienne Westwood squiggle top.

I am extremely excited because I have managed to find it on a sale (again) and in a different colour. Since I am so addicted to this print, I shall be searching high and low for more sale items!

Can't wait until next week when it should be arriving!
How about you? Did you buy anything nice in the sales?

It's another Westwood for Melissa

Hello,

As always, whenever I come across any of the new Melissas for Vivienne Westwood, I cannot help myself but screaming at the computer screen!

It's just so exciting to find out which of her iconic designs, is gonna be the new plastic fantastic shoes.

If you are into lolita or gothic, or is just a fan of the 'rocking horse' style, now it's your turn!
They will be coming out soon...

The new design has also a wing detail, an inspiration which might have come from Redbull... who knows?!?!

And below a quick look in some original rocking horse styles...

And since I got started on subject... have you guys seen the Wellingtons boots???
I want a pair so badly! The squiggle print is THE most iconic of the Anglomania range, a TOTAL Westwood classic.

I am loving the blue one! They are available at Vivienne Westwood online, £95.

Plastic dreams everyone!

Waiting... oh no !

Hello,

Me and my Melissas... Am I just addicted to them or what?

A couple of weeks ago I found out about the third edition of the collaboration Vivienne Westwood with Melissa.
First ones to come out were the " Mary Jane " released together with the " Ultragirl " (flat shoes), and then second ones released were " Lady Dragon", which I believe they kinda of got sold out, those are the heart ones which I posted about a while ago...
And now be prepared to the " Three Straps " versions....
They will come out in flats called " Ballerina" and also in a platform version which will be called " Elevated " but, for me undoubtedly the best one are the " Three Elevated Straps ". Which completely blew my mind away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Coming soon, they are due to be released in May and they will cost £109.
Tell me where is the queue? NOW!

OMG !!!!! And check all those amazing colours... and that amazing platform...

On top row Three Strap Ballerina and Elevated version, on bottom left a new version of the Ultragirl with a leopard print acrylic bow on top.

Ps: Agyness Deyn little boots on the cover of Plastic Dreams are called " Ashanti" and also will be in the UK for sale very soon.

Start saving the monies!!!!!

And we are almost there...

And once more it's again that time of the year where everyone says: "OMG I cant believe it has gone so quickly ..."
I enjoy Xmas and especially when it comes to putting the decorations and Xmas tree up!
At first, it always seems that is going to be a hell of a lot of work , I have a huge tree which I bought at Argos few years back, it is 7 ft long!!!

Photobucket

...The difference in price between a big one and a small one was nothing and I had always dreamed of having a big one. 'So, why not?', I thought at the store... It was all good until I had to get on a bus with it and carry it a few floors upstairs...

One of my favourite tree decorations is a Vivienne Westwood shoe which a I bought at the V&A exhibition in 2004.
This shoe alone inspired and gave me the go ahead to buy a huge tree...

Whilst in Brazil a few months back my mum gave me all the decorations from her tree... I was so happy to be reunited with some oldies which brought back so many nice memories. All my candy cane string and some bits that i had made myself when I was 6 or 7. Stuff that had to travel 5000 miles and took up (precious) room in my suitcase - but all well worth it.
All and all I love all the musical snowman and reindeers and it always makes my tree a mixture of bears and snowman, sweets and toys.

So sad when all has to go in January :(
Happy holidays!
