An interesting piece of clothing

Hello,

I first fell in love with the idea of a having a harness as an accessory many years ago, when I first had a glimpse of one on a magazine mid 90's.

The picture used above is from the 2002 McQueen collection and still one of my favourite of McQueen's collections to this day. I had been dreaming about one those for a long time and finally managed to get one a while ago. Ever since, a few girlfriends of mine and some of you, my lovely blog readers, have also been interested in this trend and have been asking me about it.

So, I have been searching high and low and here are the best versions from the web...

From Asos

Noregian Wood, from Etsy.com

All Saints. (available on website)

Ilya Fleet, Ilya Fleet.com or Coco de mer

From Skin Graft designs

Overall, I find all the different styles very nice. I own the one on the third row from All Saints, it is made of leather like most of them, but I love the one from Noregian Wood which is elasticated.

Would you dare to wear it? If so, what would wear it with?

See you soon.

Yabadabadoo

Hello,

I had a little Pebbles doll when I was young, she was so cute in her little orange dress...

Yabadabadoo!

Flintstones. Meet the Flintstones.

They're the modern stone age family.

From the town of Bedrock,

They're a page right out of history.

Let's ride with the family down the street.

Through the courtesy of Fred's two feet.

When you're with the Flintstones

you'll have a yabba dabba doo time.

A dabba doo time.

You'll have a gay old time.

A collection of my favourites - bento boxes

Hello,

Today's post is a collection of my favourite pictures... One of my dreams is to visit Japan. Why? I would go absolutely mad about all Hello Kitty things... from buses to vending machines... I would also eat loads of sushi and bento boxes, and I would probably scream if one of these dishes came my way. It's not only food , it's art!

Yummy!

A great discovery

Hello,

The other day I was so excited when I stumbled on this fabulous website!
This Japanese label called 'Toga' by the designer Yasuko Furuta is just too fabulous for words...

Graduate of Esmod Paris, Yasuko Furuta is a self-taught designer, who made a name for herself in Japan, where she worked as a freelance costume and fashion stylist.

Her first collection, presented in a showroom in 1997, caught the attention of many buyers and journalists. She held her first fashion show in 2001 during the Tokyo Fashion Week.

If you love the work of Hannah Marshall and Alexander Wang (2 of my favourites designers right now, I mean, both of them had HOT collections which, I can only dream to own...) you are almost certainly going to like this label too. Immediately 2 will become 3... B-E-L-I-E-V-E me!

A collection rich in details and lovely fabrics such as brocade and chiffon with an impeccable tailoring. It really caught my eye. I love the asymmetry used in some patterns like that beautiful jacket/cape where one sleeve is shorter than other, also love the strong shoulders which has followed throughout the collection.
The usage of some fur is also present and I totally in love with the white shearling gilet!

I thought to buy 'Toga' you had to be in Japan... Well, aparently you can find the label on Dover Street Market, London.
HURRAY!!!

This is the return of the space cowboy

Hello,

The space cowboy...

1. needs to fly.

2. needs to come from space.

LOL

Woke up with this song in my head, inspired my outfit today...

1. Space... hummm... silver boots.

Last year, when I was on holidays in Brazil, I had seen them advertised in 'Gloss' Magazine (a Brazilian mag, which I am hooked on) and you know sometimes, they get to advertise on the mag first and release items to the shops later... Which is a huge problem, because when you see something that you REALLY want, you wanna get it straight away. Especially if you don't have much time!

So, the rat race started around town, and many shops later(bless my mum)... I managed to get them and luckily for me I was very quick because they hadn't received many of them as they had just come out.

2. Need to fly... humm...

Check it out!
