You saw it first at Pretty Portobello

Hello guys,

I hope all of you had a good, relaxing bank holiday. It's so sad, this is the last Bank holiday of the year... Anyways, I had a really good time, learning how do to do some new things on the photoshop and reading some magazines.

Catching up on my monthly subscription of 'In Style' magazine, October's issue, I came across this page!
Much to my surprise, proudly on number 5 of their top 10 cool scarves, is the skull scarf, the one I have reviewed for Very.co.uk.

Back in June...

When I selected this scarf to review it, I was surprised that I had not seen it featured anywhere. It was just such an AMAZING FIND... I am glad to see that I am not alone on my good choices, because it definitely makes to my top 5 scarves too.
It's indeed a fabulous skull print and if you love skulls like me you will not get enough of it. A total bargain as well, just £8 it's so cheap and elegant! The next best thing to the LV as pictured above! Well, you saw it first at Pretty Portobello! Have a look at my full review, clicking here.

See you soon.

New talent Nora Deak

Hi guys,

First of all, I would like to welcome all the new followers to the blog. Thank you SO much guys! Thanks for all the kind comments too.

So, I am very excited about today's post! Last week, while at the Alternative Fashion Show in Spitalfields, I came across this stall and immediately loved what I saw.

With a small but very innovative collection, Nora Deak is a cool and promissing fashion designer. She is a lovely and very down to earth girl, with loads of talent just finishing her last year at the London College of Fashion, ready to show her final collection.

I was excited to come across a new talent and also such a nice person. She didn't mind me taking those pictures and we had quite a nice chat... and I am so happy I am able to share some of her work with you too.

Talking a little bit about her work and inspiration for this collection: 'Contradiction' is based on romanticism and transformer robots and it aims to depict the metamorphosis of these completely different themes when they meet and create something new.

Enjoy!

I really loved that I had the chance to look at her beautiful portfolio and sketches.

Meet Nora in front of her stall in Spitalfields.

I also asked Nora a little info about herself. She is originally from Budapest, (Hungary) where she had first studied business. As she's a creative person, she was always drawing, painting and sewing and working as an accountant, was not for her! She then decided to change her career, following her vocation, applying at Budapest Fashion School for a 2 years course, later deciding to come to London to further her studies. She was accepted at the LCF and now finishing any time soon.

Good luck, girlie!

Most amazing rings by ORAH London!

Hello guys,

Let me introduce you to the new, most amazing, fabulously gorgeous range of jewellery from Orah London.

(Make sure to tell all your friends you saw it first here!)

The other night I was watching a programme on ITV2 with Ferne Cotton and Peaches Geldof, when I noticed that the presenter, Ferne was wearing the most amazing ring by Orah London.

I was mostly excited and screaming because Orah London is the 'love-child' of a girlfriend of mine and all the designs are absolutely fantastic! The whole range is of exceptionally high quality rhodium plated sterling silver jewellery with hand-set cubic zirconia and glass stones.

The collection is just gorgeous! The type of thing that will make you dream all day and all night. I certainly am!

Check it out!

Truly exquisite jewellery, isn't it?

The starfish collection is one of my favourite ones, which by much coincidence is the same one Ms. Ferne Cotton is wearing, and as I can see she is already a fan!
