The 7th Annual Paper Fashion Show left a lasting impression in Denver on Thursday night at the City Hall Event Center. The show featured models strutting the runway in outfits made entirely out of paper…not the typical couture material. Nevertheless, this unique fashion show drew 1,000 patrons to witness the jaw-dropping wearable art.

Models wore outfits inspired by aquatic life, gladiator warriors and floral designs. Some even glowed in the dark and others had movable parts. Amidst the intricacy of the designs, some paper fashions were simply mirror images of everyday life, including a male model who sported a yellow paper bathrobe and pink bunny slippers…laughable yet creative. The designs were created by local artist teams including students, working professionals and fashion enthusiasts. Team Pulp Fiction was a cut above the rest, winning the competition with their blue and silver colored ballerina-inspired design that looked like a scene out of Swan Lake.
