Marc Jacobs has been gaining popularity since the early 2000's and is now considered one of the top designers in New York City. He is well known for his edgy and simple advertisements which usually features a model in a strange setting with over exposed lighting. I have always been a major fan of his bags. He has his couture line Marc Jacobs and his prêt-à-porter line called Marc by Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs was born and raised in NYC and later went to Parsons New School for design. In the late nineties he went to work for Louis Vuitton where he created the company's first prêt-à-porter line. In 2010 Marc Jacobs was chosen to be one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.
