One of the world's top designers, Alexander McQueen, is my favorite of them all. I am in love with this designer because everything that comes from him is completely out of the box and very couture (some even call it art!). He is not afraid to take risks and goes as big as he can with his lines. You can really tell him and his team put so much effort into every detail of the clothing they produce, because there are so many accessories and elements to each piece, which I admire. McQueen has always come out with innovative heels, but he has recently become the buzz of fashion after releasing his amazing Spring 2010 line with a twelve-inch claw-looking shoe and other beautiful, abstract heels. His gothic style always turns heads and makes us wonder what him and his team will come up with next.
Unfortunately, Lee Alexander McQueen passed away in February of 2010. Though he is not with us anymore, his legacy lives on in the fashion world and his empire continues to run the catwalk in his honor. May he rest in peace.
