Bow Tie the Knot

I don't know why, but when I think of Valentine's day outfits the first thing that came to mind was bow ties! Although they are an item we don't see often when we go out, I feel like these accessories are very fun, quirky, and classic and can add some personality to any outfit. A cool idea would be to coordinate your tie to match with your date to show the world just how cute (or obnoxious) you guys are. Or if you're going on a fancy-shmancy dinner date and need to throw on a suit/tux, definitely bust out the bow tie, baby! If you're going more semi-casual/or vintage looking, you can try a button up shirt with your bow tie and maybe some slick suspenders if you want to go all out. I've had my eye on the bow ties at American Apparel, which come in different colors, materials, and patterns for $20.00. And if any ladies are reading this, they are unisex! That means you can put them in your hair or wear them on your collar, too.

When you buy your bow tie, you should know you're killing two birds with one stone. You're making a nice outfit for your date, and a good Chippendale's outfit for the after-date. ;) Either way you wear it, have fun, be sexy, be safe, and spread the love!

Forever Alone,
