While the high waist may still be up in the air for some of you, I think the style is amazing. It perfectly shows off any girl's figure and creates a very feminine look. High waist skirts can be perfect for a formal occasion and high waist shorts are a wonderful way to add style to a casual weekday.
From shorts to pants and especially skirts I love high waist designs and am so glad a high waist style graced the cover of Vogue in the 40s and I’m so excited that we did not leave them in a past decade. Just in the more recent past decades fashion has forgotten the high waist style, but of course these last few years we have brought these wonderful pieces back to rest above our hips.
