On Wednesday, the company unveiled its new eCommerce site - Boutiques.com specially for ladies who want to go stylish and paint the town red with their fashion statement. This website would feature styles curated by renowned celebs, fashionistas, bloggers and designers. It is said to be an ambitious extension of Like.com which Google acquired last summer.
With the launch of this eCommerce website, Google has come out open on forefronts with eBay and Amazon.com. Cashing in on the current trend of e-shopping, Google promises to offer visual recognition, machine-learning and personalized shopping opportunity.
