Nylon magazine, is an American magazine which focuses on fashion, music, pop culture, and much more. It first hit the stands in 1999 and has been gaining speed ever since. Nylon is hands down one of my favorite reads. It is always packed full of great style tips, designer trends, music reviews, well written profile articles, and beautiful pictures. Not to mention, their layouts are so minimalistic that the products and photography are always the main focus of a page. You can never go wrong with Nylon. Another great aspect of Nylon is that they are branching out into the world of broadcast and they now have Nylon TV on their website which is always worthwhile to watch. Wether it is a profile on a celebrity or a spotlight on a famous make-up artist, Nylon TV always brings something new and different to the table.
Nylon also launched a Mens magazine in 2003 which can be found online. Now, if you ever find a man who reads Nylon, hold onto him and never let him go...he is a keeper for sure.
April's Cover girl was Vanessa Hudgens, but the magazine also had three other alternate online covers which all featured the girls from the upcoming movie Sucker Punch. It was also Nylon's anniversary issue! This month's issue was packed full of great spring trends, beauty tips, and great profile pieces on the stars of Sucker Punch. This is an issue definitely worth reading.
