Satya Paul's line of Luxurious Bridal creations ended Day Three of Lakme Fashion Week Winter / Festive 2010

Satya Paul’s fashion prediction at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Fashion 2010 was a great success and it had to be with a title like “The Bridal Tarot Line”.

An extension of the Art of Tarot collection it will be a must have for trousseau shoppers. The famed tarot symbols like Empress, Lovers, Wands and Chariots were the inspiration of the evolution of the collection for Puneet Nanda, the brain behind the creations. He presented stunning saris and ready-to-wear for the lady who wants to walk down the aisle.

Gorgeous traditional colours like emerald, royal blue, fuchsia and red along with earthy gold and tan moved onto lush fabrics ranging from georgette, soft satin, silk knit and played a fashionable symphony for tunics, dresses, saris, kurtas and lehengas.

Impressive creations were of course the gorgeous saris that glittered and sparkled with colours and sequins, while the creations like the brown goddess “V” neck dress with lattice work back, empire line shaded draped mini and the tie up dhoti pant were luxurious.

The placement beadwork for sheaths was clever while the side draped will-power dress, the rosette kurta with shimmering churidars, the pre-stitched net red sari and the sensational red bridal lehenga were breathtaking.

The final section was pure bridal wear with an all-in-one sleeve black dress with zardozi embroidery on yoke and shoulders, a majestic gold jersey fish tail bare back gown, the gold raja coat and green lehenga and the set of emerald green mini and kurta with lavish gold embellishments.

Stopping the show was the very talented Bollywood star, Shruti Haasan who scored with films like “Luck” wearing a stunning blue toned silk sari with dazzling border and long sleeved black net choli.

When it comes to Satya Paul creations for the bride by Puneet Nanda the ensembles are a treat for the eyes with their timeless beauty.
