Look of the Week: Red

Here's why I love red: It looks good on anybody, it (almost) always commands positive attention, and it's appropriate for every occasion. Okay, okay. So it might not be the best idea to walk to class in a floor-length gown. However, it doesn't need to take the form of a formal dress to make a woman look stunning. Red means, "STOP. Look at me." Red means, "I'm the reason we celebrate Valentine's Day." Red means, "I'm as fresh as a berry." It's a warm, fall color, it stands out in the snow, it blossoms in the spring, and yet remains just as vivacious for the summer. It can pop a pair of lips wearing a similar color, or it can bring out the natural beauty of a face where no makeup lingers. Red is an amazing complement to neutrals, or an equally as impressive stand-alone. Colors aren't just for matching purposes, color is the Look of the Week.
