More pictures from LFW and also some videos (I'm getting addicted to videos now!)
Four new designers displayed their collections at the 'Fashion Mode', which is a London Fashion Week showcase in conjunction with Vauxhall Fashion Scout. The show was yesterday, Sunday 19th.
Let's go... 2 collections for the ladies and 2 for the gents. Yes! Boys get their turn at PPortobello.
Enjoy!

Florian Jayet
Jayet describes his general style as inspired by the futuristic concepts of Paco Rabanne and Thierry Mugler. (Oh yes, I can see a lot of Mugler indeed!)
The inspiration was to use the garments as armour, much like an exoskeleton.
Amazingly constructed garments...
And a quick video, of the end of the show.
Carlotta Barone
The collection was called 'wear my skin' and it's idea is to fight against the racism.

I loved this 'tattooed' skin body, used throughout the show.

And another quick video!
...And some for the boys...
Elson Figueiredo
His collection was inspired by the people who would travel with circuses and amusements shows. He describes his pieces as a mish-mash of casual workwear and traditional tailoring.

James Hillman
James Hillman based his collection on the 'Teddy boy' look. Interesting choice of fabrics mixing perceptions of masculine and feminine through using silk, leather, chiffon and jersey.

So what do you guys think of the new designers? Have you already got a favourite?
