One of the recent fashion trends exploding all over the nation is platform heels. I must admit that I love this new acceptance of glammed out heels with a bit of boost, making it easier to strut your stuff in, but how high is too high? Yesterday I purchased two must have pairs of heels both with a platform but couldn't help to notice a couple of pairs on the shelf and online that were gorgeous but still seemed a little hooker-esque. Above are the shoes I purchased and would recommend to someone who would like to try this look out but still remain a bit more refined, especially to anyone who finds heels painful when high (BCBG beige pumps and black studded Steve Maddens.) Both styles and brands, be them contrasting, are exquisite. (sorry the picture isn't too great!)
