If I were a pirate, I would love these trunks to come my way...

The ultimate luxury...

La Maison Goyard was founded in 1853 in Paris. They have the most well crafted leather goods, including small luxury leather goods, and a designer dog collection very posh with leather travel cases which are portable travel dog bowls! Incredible.

They are well known for its hard-sided trunks so, in association with Assouline a special trunk has been made with 100 of Assouline's signature Memoire photo biographies on art, fashion, design and architecture. All pieces are covered in a signature hand-painted patented chevron canvas made of cotton, linen, and hemp and displayed in two colors. The original chevron canvas was created in 1892; and was traditionally produced in black and red.

Here are some pictures to delight yourself with a wonderful collection of books as well as with these amazing trunks which cost a pop of $20,000.00 each.

Currently, Goyard is sold in fewer than fifteen locations worldwide. In Sao Paulo, Brazil, a brand called Daslu stocks them or, the Assouline shop in France.

I shall be waiting by the shore...
