Metallics!

As always, the stars continued to shine in gorgeous metallics on the 2011 Grammy Red-Carpet. From the youngest stars to the more well-known, long term celebrities, each and every one took their own stance on making a statement. Of course, some styles went awry and some were classy and timeless, but without a doubt, metallics are always the stand-out fabric of the event. 

              Hayley Williams kept with her edgy roots but dazzled in a flapper-esque metallic black and neon dress. 

Kim Kardashian and Heidi Klum took on the gold hues in form fitting dresses that beautifully complimented both lighter and darker complexions and hair.

Appealing to the younger, teenage crowd, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus walked the red-carpet in floor length metallic gowns. Gomez brought sophistication and glitz, while Cyrus stunned in a metallic animal print.

Jennifer Lopez made her statement in a short silver and pewter shaded dress, and although it wouldn’t be my first choice for the Grammy’s, her metallic hue stood out with the other metallics against the dull flat fabrics. Katy Perry, Kathy Griffin, Mya, and Nancy O’Dell were also among the metallic-laden beauties, in their collection of colorful metallics.

You don’t have to be on your way to the awards to look hot and shimmer like the stars. Department stores and non-designers everywhere sell accessories, shoes, and outfit pieces to fit every lover of things that shine!
