Fresh and British...

Hello,

It just came to my attention a newish brand called 'Bolongaro Trevor'. Nice discovery, I just had a look at their webiste and I think this label is pretty cool, especially if you like the style of 'All Saints' clothing.

The collection is designed by Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor, former designers behind All Saints Retail Ltd.

Ahhhh... so it's all explained why you might fall in love with it so quickly, the collection is good enough for the likes of Agyness Deyn & Daisy Lowe so join the club.

Here the usual peep 2 looks from the catwalk and some looks from the lookbook A/W 2009.

As I said... all lovely, fresh and British!

Happy feet

Hello,

I commented on my last week being a bit up and down... Keeping on the up side of things, I decided to stop at the shops last weekend. I got inspired after visiting the fashion display at the V&A museum, I guess.

Stopped at Urban Outfitters, where they had some good sales and it was unusually quiet for a Sunday.

These bright yellow platforms are by 'See by Chloe', I had already had my eye on them for a while... their original price was £255, reduced to £150, when I first tried them on a few weeks back.

I saw them on the sale section where there were a few pairs left, but I was actually trying a pair of gladiator sandals this time... I didn't really bother much because I knew they were more than I was willing to spend... When all of a sudden a horde of girls came, madly running after them.

On the spur of the moment, I grabbed a pair. It was my sweetest dream when I saw the price tag was down to £40, a screaming BUY ME price!

Needless to say, the 5 pairs that were left were gone within 10 minutes!

My feet was also happily greeted by my M&M! I think he's fallen in love too!

Bring the disco back!

Unbeatable bargain, don't you think?

See you soon.

Fridays @ Portobello

Hello

Hey, folks... it's been a while since my last post... I missed blogging so much, but my computer has broken down, very sad... on the other hand, I had some good news.
A friend visiting over from Brazil which kept me busy for the last few days too. We had a short but wonderful time together!

I was down the market last Friday, with my mates and I had time for a few snapshots.

A summer winner is the mini jeans, shorts or skirt! Here are 3 very cute looks and ways to wear yours.

Cool anatomy

Hello,

I just came across this super cute & rock and roll necklaces, they are handmade by Ms. Vanda from Lisbon, her cool label is called 'Paraphernalia'.

I adore the idea of the vintage illustrations being printed and cut out in acrylic, giving them a unique and cool visual effect.
All necklaces and bracelets are absolutely adorable.

Inspired by vintage images and magicians and as they quote on their website, they also seem to enjoy the bizarre and odd ways of beauty.

And so do I!
I just love those pieces from the Anatomica collection which are amazing!
They remind me of the NIN's video (Closer)... Especially the red heart and the ribcage. I never thought I would find anatomy so cool but now they are definitely on my wish list.

See you soon.

The September Issue

Many of you fashionistas have seen the likes of Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada portraying a very well known editor in the fashion industry. One of the most influential people in fashion, a style icon, is now to be featured in her very own documentary. Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue, will be starring in The September Issue.

Here is a sneak peak into the life of a legend.

I can't wait...

Hello,

A little post to celebrate the sales and the internet! Is there anything better than to browse on line in the comfort of your home?

I have just come across 'My wardrobe' website, which is another great multi brand website. At the moment they offering great discounts and I could not help myself but buying another Vivienne Westwood squiggle top.

I am extremely excited because I have managed to find it on a sale (again) and in a different colour. Since I am so addicted to this print, I shall be searching high and low for more sale items!

Can't wait until next week when it should be arriving!
How about you? Did you buy anything nice in the sales?

Rice paper

Hello,

I am back with an outfit post!

White is such a basic colour but for me, it's still a colour which I find difficult to wear.

Apart from new year's eve in Brazil, where it is a huge tradition to wear white head to toe, I actually haven't gone out like this in many years. A simple combination of a white, straight leg jeans (given to me by a friend) and a bit of silver to break it up.

My second best bargain in this outfit is the huge, white, real leather bag, which was a total find on the market, for £10. It was a little dirty on the outside, so I have cleaned it up with a sponge a bit of washing up liquid, although you should never wash leather, a good wipe works wonders and now it looks like new!

A fresh and clean look. What do you think?

Squiggle me!

Hello,

I was just going down to the park in one of those lovely sunny afternoons we had, when all of a sudden I saw myself at the high street, leaving the park behind... and getting into a store, oops.

I almost had a heart attack when I came across this amazing top and skirt. Being a huge Westwood lover, as you guys must know by now, I could not believe that at least 2 of my 'dreams' were becoming true, due an amazing sale, where those items were reduced to an amazing , irrestible, buy me now price.

I had already commented on how much I love the squiggle print and so I am hugely happy with my purchases, although BF secretly thinks I look like a bumble bee. I can't help myself, I love bright colours and all the squiggle print combinations.

The tunic is large and has a strap which can be used in different ways to change its look.

The shorts, are beautifully gathered giving a skirt look to it. It also has 2 ties on the inside which can be pulled.

I teamed it up with PVC leggings from Ebay and Westwood tank top, an old bargain from Ebay, Sunglasses are Ray-Ban.

Love! In black and white

Hello,

Do you believe in love at first sight? Well, I do and that is what just happened to me tonight whilst browsing through Net-a-porter website.

Shoes Heaven, on the sale! If only I could afford...

My passion: Fendi wedge heel suede boots.

Why: Love the mesh material and the 'tres' optical heel effect.

What would I do to buy it: Eat just canned soup for 2 1/2 months.

What would I wear with: Patterned Berbaroque tights, PVC or sheredded leggings a la MMM.

What would happen if I had them: Would share many blog pictures wearing them and turn many heads down the road. ;-)

What would happen if I don't get them: Don't want to think about that! I am allowed to dream.

Dream on , dreamer...
pictures from Net-a-porter, Fendi boots, £250 on sale.

PS: On a personal note my favourite watch, a swatch Irony, has broken...

I have had it for a good 3 years and I have REALLY looked after it, so I was gutted today whilst adjusting the time, the arms got stuck! I got really upset and the rang the Swatch customer service...

Readers - BE AWARE if you have a swatch Irony and it's past it's warranty. They cannot be fixed, AT ALL!

They get replaced if they still on the warranty but otherwise, the watches are made as a single unit, meaning they cannot be open for any reason.

On a positive, my watch is not totally broken(Smiles), still works but, can't be adjusted.

On a negative, I won't be buying anymore swatches Irony despite loving them. Shame!

Vogue

Hello,

Today I just would like to share some cool pictures of editorials from the Japanese Vogue, July 09.

I love magazines and I have never posted about an editorial before. Coming across these pictures, I found all these looks very inspiring. A mixture of rock chic, fetish and biker which is right up my street.

Following the idea of the previous one, with a touch of fetish, amazing thigh high boots, fabulous leather and denim creations, the second editorial is called 'Cowgirl'.
I am absolutely loving the denim cape. It's such a great idea.

I hope you guys have enjoyed too.
See you soon.
;)
